• Use sound business principles to work out how much your organisation needs to rationalise its resources
• Discuss alternatives to redundancy to enable Voluntary and Community Organisations to retain key members of staff
• If losing staff is the only way to survive, sharing knowledge, good practice and resources to ensure the process of making staff redundant is carried out legally and with care
