Increasingly organisations need business plans to guide their future development and also to make the case for future funding investment. Funders and commissioners expect to see a viable business plan as part of the bidding process. The plan can also be a valuable way of bringing the organisation together and ensuring that trustees, staff and volunteers have a shared view of where the organisation is going and how to get there.
This one day course introduces a business planning framework, demystifies the jargon and gives participants a tool kit to help them analyse their own organisation and agree how to move forward.
Course content includes:
· What do we mean by strategy?
· Developing a process and framework
· Putting the plan together – tools and techniques
· Developing a strategy
· Costing the plan
· Making it happen
Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm
Other: A light lunch will be provided
