I have worked for Doncaster Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Service for over 20 years, originally as a volunteer and founder member, and since 1993 as a paid Development Officer. I currently sit as CEN representative on the Safer Doncaster Partnership as well as voluntary sector representative on the Mental Health Partnership Board. My background prior to working in the voluntary sector was principally administrative, junior and middle management.
The best way to start a conversation with Penny is... almost anything really, I like interesting conversations. Try cricket, rugby league, gardening, cooking, poetry, photography, canals and narrow boats, cryptic crosswords, theatre – or whatever interests you.

Annie has been involved in community work in Thorne & Moorends for 47 years helping and supporting a wide range of community groups and organisations. Before retiring Annie worked for ICI Fibres and then as a Regional Manager for a Finance company; In addition she was South Yorkshire County Councillor for five years representing the Thorne and Moorends Ward and a Thorne Town councillor for eight years. Annie is a founder member of ThorneMoor Working Group and took a lead role in the new build and refurbishment of Moorends Miners Welfare and Community Development Centre.
