Doncaster Personalisation Forum

“The personalisation agenda brings many challenges and it is important that the voluntary sector has an opportunity to debate issues, share information and speak with one voice. The Personalisation Forum provides an opportunity to do just that!” (Maddie O’Sullivan Chair Doncaster Personalisation Forum)

The Doncaster Personalisation Forum is a forum of community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises that are interested in working together to meet the opportunities and challenges of personalisation head on.

The forum holds monthly forum meetings to provide an opportunity for the sector to join together for informal discussion about personalisation and to share ideas and experiences. The meetings also provide an opportunity for the sector to talk directly with the local authority and NHS to help shape the environment and local picture of personalisation.

A range of voluntary organisations are now attending, providing support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental ill health and older people. Through the forum, exciting new initiatives are being explored.

The forum is open to any group that would like to attend and that can support its terms of reference.
