Consultation on the Local Development Framework Core Strategy Preferred Options

The Voluntary and Community Sector is being invited to comment on the draft Local Development Framework (LDF) Core Strategy.
The Core Strategy will set out where approximate amounts of new housing and different types of jobs will be located. It will also contain policies on other important issues such as transport infrastructure, the historic and natural environment and flood risk. Local groups, businesses and residents being are invited to comment on the draft plan.
Your comments are extremely important in ensuring that the future planning policy reflects the range of issues that are relevant to business, local communities, stakeholders and others with an interest in future development of the Borough. This draft plan has been informed by previous rounds of consultation.
The public consultation runs for a six-week period between 9th August and 20th September 2010. The draft plan is available to view online at www.doncaster.gov.uk/ldfcorestrategy. Hard copies are available to view at Danum House, and libraries. Comments can be made via email using ldf@doncaster.gov.uk, or writing to the address below. A number of drop-in sessions and events will take place during the consultation period, the dates are available on the internet along with the plan at www.doncaster.gov.uk/ldfcorestrategy.
