Viewpoint CIC Wants Your Point Of View
10th March 2010
Social enterprises in Yorkshire and the Humber are being invited to have their say on future funding in the region.
Viewpoint Community Interest Company has been successful in winning an evaluation contract with Key Fund Yorkshire, a key regional social enterprise investor. Viewpoint will be contacting individuals from a sample of over 500 social enterprises that have received funding from the Key Fund; in order to measure their levels of satisfaction.
A further 100 third sector organisations that have not previously accessed support will also be contacted. Viewpoint will be researching the future needs of these enterprises and collecting feedback from other key stakeholders. This will be used to help the Key Fund to determine their future plans and activities, ensuring they are offering the right finance packages to support the growth and sustainability of the Yorkshire and Humber social enterprise sector.
As a social enterprise itself, Viewpoint is bringing quality, experience and value for money to the Key Fund evaluation whilst also employing and empowering adults with health-related and social impairments.
Alistair Ponton, Managing Director at Viewpoint CIC said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to carry out Key Fund Yorkshire’s evaluation and are particularly pleased to be able to support another social enterprise in engaging with customers to improve their service.”
Viewpoint has also previously carried out work for the Social Enterprise Coalition, Big Issue in the North and Sheffield Homes, and is always on the lookout for new opportunities to support other organisations in the sector.
