Have you been thinking about how you might pass on your skills to others?  Or are you already doing some training and you want to take the first step towards Qualified Teacher Status in the Lifelong Learning Sector?  Or maybe you are doing group work in the substance misuse or criminal justice field and you want to learn some new techniques for planning and delivery?

If you do anything which involves working with people in a group situation, then you will love this course!  Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) marries together the two key elements of effective teaching/training/group work:

  • Developing cutting edge techniques for planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation
  • Engaging people in learning which is exciting, challenging and anti-discriminatory.

The course takes place over 8 days and we ask you to commit to keeping a reflective journal and delivering at least one hour’s learning in a context which is right for you.
