Development and Training

Capacity building has a particular relevance for the third sector. The availability of training, advice and assistance is essential in helping organisations to form, develop and become as sustainable as possible.

At Doncaster CVS our core objective is to help local third sector organisations be successful. We are often not the deliverers, instead we exist to help others deliver their goals. Our development workers provide practical one-to-one support to a wide variety of groups, from small community organisations that are just starting up to existing social enterprises that are looking to develop their services.

In addition, we directly provide some training courses and we are able to signpost groups to other training providers that provide courses relevant to third sector organisations.
