Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board

Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board is the statutory multi-agency group with a responsibility for monitoring how local services are planned and delivered in order to ensure Doncaster’s children and young people are looked after properly, kept safe and protected from harm.

Part of the role of DSCB is working with local Voluntary and Community Sector organisaitons and many local VCS organisations have taken part in training delivered or facilitated by DSCB. Doncaster Children's Trust

Children’s Trusts are local partnerships which bring together the organisations responsible for services for children, young people and families in a shared commitment to improving children’s lives.

Members of the Doncaster Children's Trust come from the key local groups and agencies concerned with children and young people, including the Youth Council, Schools, the Council, Health, Police, the Voluntary and Community sector and other key stakeholders.
